Community Choirs Arise !!!
We would truly be so blessed to have the town and city community choirs as with the individual church choirs come to this year’s Festival of Choirs USA!! How about it??
The Festival of Choirs USA® is a choir event. This will be our eighth year and we are going to have a great and exciting time!!!! The Festival is a free event open to the public.
New for this year is that the Festival is earlier in the year and being held at a church.
This year’s Festival will be held on May 21st at:
Sawyer Evangelical Church
777 South Kendall Ave.
Bradford, PA 16701
Timeline for this year’s Festival will be posted at a later date.
The Festival is registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for: Promoting public awareness of the need to reestablish and reinvigorate the choirs that were once in small town churches.
I am soooooo excited about this 2016 year for the Festival!!! The Festival is going to be GREAT!!! More information to come at a later date. Thanks for all of your responses and encouragements!!
Today is July 1st. This is the first day of the registration period for church choirs to sign up to sing at the 2015 Festival of Choirs USA. The registration period runs from July 1st to August 1st.
There is a returnable twenty-five dollar registration fee. The fee is meant for helping us know how many choirs are entering this year’s Festival. After the registered church choir sings at the Festival the fee will be returned back to the church. It helps us greatly on knowing how to plan. Go online to www.festivalofchoirsusa.com
The Festival will be held on August 15th. Location is 807 Skinner Creek road, Port Allegany, Pa. 16743. The time line for the day is for the Festival to begin at noon and wind up around 6:00pm. There will be choirs singing, special groups and a lot of fun!
There will be food and drinks available during the Festival. This helps to support the Festival.
Please come to encourage and support the church choirs. Four part harmony in a choir can be life changing to a person listening. There is an anointing that God gives the choirs like there is an anointing that God gives the church leaders! Both working together can be dynamite!
Be BLESSED and see you there!!
I have been hearing from people that they have not seen any flyers out about this year’s Festival of Choirs USA. This year we have run into not being able to post flyers in a lot of places where we use to. They say because of corporation rules. I am sure this is true but it hurts getting the word out about the Festival!! Advertizing is great but the cost of it is often not in our budget.
The Festival will be held at 807 Skinner Creek Road, Port Allegany, Pa. 16743. Date is August 15th. Time will be from noon until six pm. We will have refreshment available to help fund the Festival all day long.
We have made a change this year in that we are not judging the choirs. The judging from the beginning was to sharpen the choirs and not to pit one choir against another.
Please spread the word around for us. It is really important that the choirs get restored back into the churches again where they once were. The harmony of bass, tenor, alto and soprano in the choirs can be life changing!! Please contact me here or 757-630-1490 with any questions.
That is right! Only 98 days left until the seventh annual Festival of Choirs USA! I am soooo excited!! More people this year have been asking about the Festival than before at this time of the year! If you have any questions please get in touch with me at email@example.com or call 757-630-1490. Be Blessed and see you all there!!
Where does the time go???? August 15th is the date for this year’s Festival.
Have not written much but that does not mean we have not been planning much. This year’s Festival of Choirs USA is going to be Great!
If anyone would like to give any free time ( if there is such a thing ) to helping the Festival this year please let me know. Many hands do make light work!!!
God Bless you and thank you all for Praying for the Festival!!!
Thank you all for the support that you have given to the Festival of Choirs USA!! This will be our seventh year for the Festival! Time goes by sooooo fast!
It is great when I am out and someone comes up to me and says, “Aren’t you that guy that has the choir thing. We just love going to it!”
This year we have made a few changes. We will not be judging the choirs. From the beginning the judging was meant to encourage choirs to step up their choirs to be the best that they could be. We still want that. We just feel the choirs that enter will be more relaxed without the judging.
Please tell your church choirs and the congregations about the Festival. Encourage them to come to the 2015 Festival of Choirs USA this year. That way they can be an encouragement to people sitting out in the audience. Then other people can go back to their churches and encourage their choirs or to start one.
We will also be having guest groups like Simple Faith and others coming again to this year’s Festival.
The date is August 15, 2015. The time schedule will be from noon until six pm. There will be food and drinks available for purchase the whole day. This is also one of the ways we raise money for the Festival.
Please check out all of the tabs at the top of our home page for more information about the Festival of Choirs USA.
Thank you and God Bless You!!

Thank you to all of the people that came to the 2014 Festival of Choirs USA!! It was a full and Great Day. I had many people come up to me and say how much they enjoyed coming to the Festival this year.
The United Church of Christ from Arcade, N.Y. was the winner of the first group size.
The First Baptist Church of Port Allegany, Pa. was the winner of the second group size.
This was Andy and Barbara’s last year doing sound with us. They will be Greatly Missed. They have donated their time and expenses to the Festival many years. Such a Wonderful couple and Godly example to me in many ways!!!!
Thank you also to Simple Faith, C.R.O.W.N. and Chanee Starks for ministering in music and so MUCH MORE!!
Thank you to ALL of the great people who worked very hard and volunteered their time and energy to this year’s Festival!! The Festival would not have been if it hadn’t been for our Sponsors, Friends, Churches and EVERYONE else that helped out so much!!
I am already writing notes for next year. Please feel free to send me any comments to firstname.lastname@example.org
Be Blessed and highly favored!!!!!!
